HGM Jazz Orchestra Zagreb featuring Sherisse Rogers

HGM Jazz Orchestra Zagreb has hosted in circles of Sunday Night concerts a young American composer, arranger and bass player Sherisse Rogers. Rogers for all compositions received numerous prestigious awards, of which is worth to mention the International Prize for the best composition of Thelonius Monk Institute, which she received last year, award for jazz composition, BMI Charlie Parker from 2005 year. Early in 2001 The American Society of musicians, arrangers and composers awarded her with prize for best arrangement. Maybe better than the award says the fact that she wrote the music for the Dutch band "The Metropole Orchestra" and that she arranged music for the jazz, to a great Dave Liebman and Peter Erskine….

Renee Manning & HGM Jazz Orchestra Zagreb

Sunday 7th February 2010. HGM Jazz Orchestra Zagreb held on 4-th concert from the cycle of Sunday Nights in season 2009/2010., also the seventh season this cycle. In Theater ITD HGM Jazz Orchestra Zagreb hosted the American singer Renee Manning McIntyre. Renee Manning, a singer born in Brooklyn, New York, in his remarkable career worked with orchestras such as Chico O'Farill Afro Cuban Orchestra and the George Gruntz Concert Jazz Band, and musicians such as Jon Faddis, Mark Murphy and Howard Johnson. But Renee Manning is not only dedicated to concerts and tours, an important role in her musical life is also pedagogy. Lecturer was singing at the Brooklyn Conservatory, and held numerous seminars and workshops. The concert was held in front of full audience Hall Theater ITD ant to satisfied public gave a real pleasure jazz club, and to young musicians, members of the HGM Jazz Orchestra Zagreb, another additional experience, now, in their 7 year in row career.
